Serendipity for your senses
As any American knows, there’s nothing better on a hot summer day than really good ice cream. Well actually, there is one thing: frozen yogurt. Yogofresh, a Florida-based frozen yogurt company, has figured out the perfect way to deliver pleasure to your taste buds without making your body sacrifice. Sinfully delicious, and heavenly healthy.
The Snack Artist – food with flair
In affiliation with one of our favorite clients, Anthem Worldwide, Worthen Design has been contracted to do a lot of concept work for The Snack Artist, a Safeway brand of snack foods that utilizes a really unique packaging design. Illustration at it’s core, The Snack Artist features their products in fun, uniquely appealing ways, and Worthen Design has been thrilled to have had a hand in it, literally.
“My favorite thing about working with Anthem Worldwide is their unique way of thinking. I get to illustrate things that are outside the box, and it’s not just your typical red apple on a package.” John Worthen, founder of Worthen Design, has had a lot of experience working with Anthem Worldwide, and The Snack Artist specifically, and says further, “The fun factor that people are really digging is the kitschy art with double meaning.”
The most refreshing part of The Snack Artist products is that the packaging really plays to people’s wit. Snacking doesn’t have to be boring. It can be a fun experience.
Take a look below at a couple of The Snack Artist’s products, and the concepts we created for them.

Logo Mania
Recently, the team at Worthen Design has been searching for some of our best logo work to submit to logolounge.com, a website dedicated to housing the most logo resources for graphic designers online. The ultimate goal is to hopefully make it into the Logo Lounge book of logos, but even having stuff on their site is pretty exciting. In raking through our archives, we’ve pulled out some of the best stuff we’ve got, and uploaded it here, for your enjoyment.
Graffiti in a whole new light – a new take on creative packaging
Are you bored by your cleaning products? Is the traditional packaging becoming mundane – sending a shiver down your spine when you catch even a glimpse in your peripheral? Cassandra Straus at Savannah College of Art and Design has approached that problem with a real creative flair. In keeping up with the lastest, most exciting news in the marketplace, we stumbled across this idea and were really impressed. Way to think outside the box, Cassandra! She was recently featured in The Dieline, which held the awesome 2011 packaging contest that Eric and John just returned from. That’s quite a feat for anyone, considering that it’s a blog which publishes the most innovative and creative packaging concepts in the business.
